What is the export?

In commerce, “Export” refers to the transportation of goods or their shipment from the place of origin to the destination. According to the definition by the Customs Administration of the Islamic Republic of Iran, “export” is the exit of goods from the customs territory of the country of origin along with compliance with existing laws and regulations. Completing this definition, an “exporter” refers to any natural or legal person who holds a business card or commercial license and proceeds to export goods by obtaining legal licenses.

Types of Export

Definite Export: If the goods are removed from the customs territory of the country for sale, use, or consumption outside the main territory, the definitive exports have taken place. The definite export can be done through border markets and co-operative companies of frontiersmen and merchants based on the rules of export and import according to its agents.

 

Temporary Export: The removal of goods from the customs territory of the country for presentation and display in exhibitions, repair, completion, and processing outside the customs territory of the country and then returning them to the customs territory is called temporary export.
